Meng Chang is a transdisciplinary artist, researcher, and multi-sensory experience designer. She is pursuing a fully funded doctoral program in collaboration with a UNESCO World Heritage Site, focusing on applying mixed reality technologies and immersive experiences to explore the future possibilities of natural and cultural heritage. She holds an MA in Information Experience Design and an MFA in Arts and Humanities from the Royal College of Art, UK, and a musicology background. Her transdisciplinary expertise brings a multi-faceted perspective to her artistic practice, bridging among art, music, and performance.
Chang’s artistic practice encompasses multi-sensory installations, new media-integrated performance art, and AI-generated content (AIGC). Her work, <Epoch>, won the 2023 award360 for Experimental Design, received coverage in Tate Etc. and the European Times, and was invited to the UK’s 2024 NEW DESIGNERS exhibition. Additionally, the piece was recognized by Architectural Digest as one of the must-see installations at Dubai Design Week 2023.
